Meet Nicole Merchán, Counselor in Training

I’m Nicole, a bilingual counselor-in-training at Revelation Counseling Services in San Antonio under the supervision of Jacqueline Hernandez, MA, LPC-S.  I am fluent in Spanish and English, I’m passionate about creating a welcoming space where people feel truly seen and heard. Currently pursuing my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Capella University, I bring both professional training and personal heart to the work I do.

I specialize in supporting women, families, entrepreneurs, and members of the Latino community through life’s challenges, whether it’s stress, anxiety, motherhood, work/life balance, or cultural identity. My counseling style is warm, compassionate, and holistic, blending evidence-based practices like CBT, Motivational Interviewing, and Mindfulness with person-centered care. Together, we’ll focus on your strengths and create a path toward growth and resilience.

Outside of counseling, I recharge with family time, nature, creativity, and the joyful chaos of being a dog mom to mini goldendoodles.
